LUKE VUKSANAJ INTERVIEW

Luke VuksanajHow long have you been into exotic cars?

I’ve loved cars since childhood. I’ve always been enamored with them, from racecars to classic street cars, to hot-rodded muscle and everything in between.

Do you remember your first car?

Yes, I do actually. It was a burgundy 1985 Pontiac Trans Am. I couldn’t believe it was actually mine when I bought it. That whole first week, I didn’t do anything but play with my car. It was life-changing for me.

Before Universal Autosports, what experience did you have with exotic automobiles?

I spent many years doing custom audio installations for high end vehicles. I also did minor performance modifications.

Did you ever compete in shows like Hot Import Nights?

Well we didn’t have HIN back then, but I did garner a few awards and trophies from IASCA, the International Auto Sound Challenge Association.

What is Universal Autosports’ goal as a provider of exotic car sales and service to consumers?

Our primary goal is provide unsurpassed customer satisfaction, with the best possible products. We don’t want to meet our customers’ demands; we want to exceed them. We want our customers to feel like they couldn’t possibly go anywhere else other than Universal Autosports, because they wouldn’t at all be happy with the “by comparison subpar” level of service they would receive.

If I were looking to buy an exotic car, what advice could you give me to ensure that I made the right decision?

I have to agree with Jack on this one and say have fun. If you get frustrated with searching and pre-purchase inspections and haggling and combing through details, you’ll resent the car you end up purchasing. If it’s laborious for you, then stop doing it. Make sure every aspect of the buying process is fun, and that will only lead to a greater joy when you finally find the car of your dreams.
